North Carolina High School Basketball - North Rowan nipped by Wesleyan Christian Academy

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans basketball team scored a tight 58-53 triumph over the North Rowan Cavaliers.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Ravenscroft Ravens (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, January 30. Wesleyan Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 17-9 season record. The Ravens enter the match with a 16-10 record after their 57-35 league win over Cary Academy (Cary, NC).

With the defeat, North Rowan moves to 11-6 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to East Davidson (Thomasville, NC) to face the Golden Eagles in a 1A/2A Conference 33 match on Friday, January 27.
