The Old Orchard Beach Seagulls basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Traip Rangers to 31 in the Seagulls league triumph on Thursday.
The Seagulls now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Dominic for a C South contest on Saturday, January 28. Old Orchard Beach will meet a Saints team coming off a 46-18 league loss to Waynflete (Portland, ME). The Saints record now stands at 3-8.
The Rangers (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Seacoast Christian (South Berwick, ME). The Guardians enter the non-league contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Seacoast Christian was routed by Sacopee Valley (Cornish, ME), 47-28, in a non-league contest.
