The Thomasville Bulldogs basketball team (Thomasville, NC), was overwhelmed 40-17 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting South Granville Vikings (Creedmoor, NC)

The Vikings now possess a 3-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Durham School of the Arts for a 2A/3A Conference 18 battle on Tuesday, January 31. South Granville will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 75-67 league win over Granville Central (Stem, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-8.

The Bulldogs (0-16) will now prepare for their battle against West Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Dragons come into the 1A/2A Conference 33 battle with a 3-15 record. In their last battle, West Davidson was overwhelmed by Salisbury (Salisbury, NC), 65-18, in a league battle.
