Michigan High School Ice Hockey - Rockford holds off West Ottawa

The Rockford Rams ice hockey squad scored 3 points and restricted the visiting West Ottawa Panthers to 2 in the Rams non-league victory on Thursday.
With the victory, Rockford moves its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Kenowa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI) to face the Knights in a non-league contest on Sunday, February 12. The Knights go into the contest with a record of 2-7.
The Panthers now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Milford for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. West Ottawa will face a Mavericks squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Hartland (Hartland, MI). The Mavericks record now stands at 9-2.
