The Ascend Leadership Aviators basketball team (Sanford, NC), was overwhelmed 73-13 in Thursday's non-league test with the host Cape Fear Christian Academy Eagles (Erwin, NC)
The Eagles (13-2) will now prepare for their test against Crossroads Christian (Henderson, NC). The Colts go into the test with a 13-3 record. In their last test, Crossroads Christian walloped Pungo Christian Academy (Belhaven, NC), 62-26, in a non-league test.
The Aviators now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Cape Fear Christian Academy for a non-league test on Friday, February 3. Ascend Leadership will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 60-28 league win over Crossroads Christian (Henderson, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 14-2.
