The Victory Christian Academy Patriots (Gastonia, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles (Shelby, NC), 42-39 in Thursday's league test.

The Patriots (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Community Christian Academy (Bessemer City, NC). The Warriors go into the test with a 16-0 record. In their last test, Community Christian Academy got by Veritas Christian Academy (Arden, NC), 60-10, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to The Master's Academy for a test on Friday, January 27. Pinnacle Classical Academy will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 51-17 league win over Veritas Christian Academy (Arden, NC). The Lions record now stands at 13-4.
