Loyd Star Hornets (Brookhaven, MS) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Crystal Springs Tigers (Crystal Springs, MS), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hornets confront the Sacred Heart Crusaders (Hattiesburg, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Loyd Star will attempt to move on its 15-6 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Morton (Morton, MS).
