The Abramson Commodores (New Orleans, LA) basketball nipped the visiting Varnado Wildcats (Angie, LA), 57-50 in Friday's non-league test.
The Commodores (6-12) will now prepare for their test against Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA). The Falcons go into the 4A District 11 test with a 5-18 record. In their last test, Benjamin Franklin got by Holden (Holden, LA), 50-47, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Riverside Academy for a 1A District 10 test on Tuesday, January 30. Varnado will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 86-49 league loss to Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 3-13.
