The Akron-Westfield Westerners (Akron, IA) basketball felled the visiting Harris-Lake Park Wolves (Lake Park, IA), 62-46 in Friday's league test.
The Westerners (11-3) will now prepare for their test against Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union (Marcus, IA). The Royals go into the War Eagle test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union thwarted West Sioux (Hawarden, IA), 48-32, in a league test.
