Ohio High School Basketball - Ansonia ripped by Preble Shawnee

The Preble Shawnee Arrows basketball team scored 79 points and held the host Ansonia Tigers to 54 in the Arrows league triumph on Friday.

The Arrows now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carlisle for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Preble Shawnee will battle a Indians team coming off a 52-38 league win over Valley View (Germantown, OH). The Indians record now stands at 9-6.

The Tigers (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Covington (Covington, OH). The Buccs enter the non-league contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Covington was routed by Northridge (Dayton, OH), 73-51, in a league contest.
