Central Dragons (Martinsburg, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bald Eagle Area Bald Eagles (Wingate, PA), 49-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Central upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Dragons host Bellwood-Antis (Bellwood, PA) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Laurel Highlands bout on Monday, January 29. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 4-11.

Next up, the Bald Eagles clash with the Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders (Altoona, PA) in a Laurel Highlands bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Bald Eagle Area will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Marauders go into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 59-56 non-league loss to Trinity (Camp Hill, PA).
