Beacon of Hope Christian Eagles (St. Augustine, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Cedar Creek Christian Saints (Jacksonville, FL), 62-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Beacon of Hope Christian upgrades its record to 3-11 on the season. The Eagles travel to Family Christian Center (Clermont, FL) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Family Christian Center lost 80-49 in their recent non-league bout against Circle Christian (Winter Park, FL)

Next up, the Saints play the St. Johns Country Day Spartans (Orange Park, FL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Cedar Creek Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record.
