The Wilson Christian Academy Chargers basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting Bethel Christian Academy Trojans to 36 in the Chargers league triumph on Friday.

The Chargers now sport a 4-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rocky Mount Academy for a non-league contest on Monday, January 29. Wilson Christian Academy will meet a Eagles team coming off a 97-45 league loss to Fayetteville Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 12-5.

The Trojans (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Living Water Christian (Jacksonville, NC). The Warriors enter the NCCSA AA East Region 4 contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, Living Water Christian nudged Wilmington Christian Academy (Wilmington, NC), 1-0, in a league contest.
