Spectators at Friday's non-league test between the Hastings Yellow Jackets (Hastings on Hudson, NY) and the host Blind Brook Trojans (Rye Brook, NY), witnessed Hastings's basketball squad nip Blind Brook by a margin of 52-50.

The Yellow Jackets (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Barack Obama School for Social Justice (Yonkers, NY). The Lightning go into the Section 1 Conference 3D test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Barack Obama School for Social Justice was tipped by Mahopac (Mahopac, NY), 51-45, in a non-league test.

The Trojans now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Briarcliff for a Section 1 Conference 3A test on Tuesday, January 30.
