Indiana High School Basketball - Monroe Central can't hold off Blue River Valley

The Blue River Valley Vikings basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Monroe Central Golden Bears to 64 in the Vikings league victory on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Union City for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Blue River Valley will battle a Indians team coming off a 64-59 league loss to Hagerstown (Hagerstown, IN). The Indians record now stands at 7-6.
The Golden Bears (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Alexandria-Monroe (Alexandria, IN). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Alexandria-Monroe was nudged by Mississinewa (Gas City, IN), 54-40, in a league contest.
