East Fairmont Bees (Fairmont, WV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV), 54-50 in a league bout.

With the win, East Fairmont upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Bees host Liberty (Clarksburg, WV) to play the Mountaineers in a Big Ten bout on Monday, January 29. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Liberty won 57-51 in their recent league bout against Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV)

Next up, the Indians play the Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV) in a Big Ten bout, on Saturday, January 27. Bridgeport will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 61-56 league win over Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV).
