The Calumet Chieftains basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Hydro-Eakly Bobcats to 41 in the Chieftains league triumph on Friday.

The Chieftains now sport a 18-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Okarche for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Calumet will battle a Warriors team coming off a 65-24 non-league win over Strother (Seminole, OK). The Warriors record now stands at 17-2.

The Bobcats (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Thomas-Fay-Custer (Thomas, OK). The Terriers enter the non-league contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Thomas-Fay-Custer was routed by Mooreland (Mooreland, OK), 55-48, in a non-league contest.
