The Churchill Bulldogs tipped the visiting Gaithersburg Trojans basketball team by a final score of 55-52 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Wootton Patriots (Rockville, MD) in a Montgomery 4A/3A Central game, on Friday, February 2. Churchill will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record.

With the defeat, Gaithersburg moves to 3-8 on the year. The Trojans travel to Sherwood (Sandy Spring, MD) to face the Warriors in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 30. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 12-3. Sherwood lost 63-62 in their recent non-league game against Kennedy (Silver Spring, MD)
