The Pontiac Indians (Pontiac, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Coal City Coalers (Coal City, IL), 77-37 in Friday's non-league test.
The Indians (13-7) will now prepare for their test against Kankakee (Kankakee, IL). The Kays go into the non-league test with a 18-2 record. In their last test, Kankakee walloped Thornridge (Dolton, IL), 88-52, in a league test.
The Coalers now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Iroquois West for a non-league test on Saturday, January 27. Coal City will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 39-37 league loss to Salt Fork (Sidell, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 8-14.
