The Rogue River Chieftains basketball team (Rogue River, OR), was overwhelmed 91-26 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Douglas Trojans (Winston, OR)

The Trojans now possess a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cascade Christian for a 3A Far West battle on Saturday, January 27. Douglas will battle a Challengers team coming off a 92-35 league win over Sutherlin (Sutherlin, OR). The Challengers record now stands at 12-5.

The Chieftains (1-15) will now prepare for their battle against Cascade Christian (Medford, OR). The Challengers come into the 3A Far West battle with a 13-5 record. In their last battle, Cascade Christian trounced Douglas (Winston, OR), 73-43, in a league battle.
