Elmore City-Pernell Badgers (Elmore City, OK) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Ringling Blue Devils (Ringling, OK), 57-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, Elmore City-Pernell upgrades its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Badgers host Velma-Alma (Velma, OK) to play the Comets in a Oilfield bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Comets come into the bout with a record of 17-3. Velma-Alma won 64-42 in their recent non-league bout against Roff (Roff, OK)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Springer Cardinals (Springer, OK) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Ringling will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 62-21 non-league win over Fox (Fox, OK).
