The Ford Trojans (Detroit, MI) basketball nipped the visiting Mumford Mustangs (Detroit, MI), 61-56 in Friday's league test.

The Trojans (3-11) will now prepare for their test against Western International (Detroit, MI). The Cowboys go into the Detroit Public I test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Western International got by Arbor Prep (Ypsilanti, MI), 80-55, in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now own a 1-11 record. They play next when they travel to Denby for a non-league test on Monday, January 29. Mumford will encounter a Tars squad coming off a 68-35 non-league loss to King (Detroit, MI). The Tars record now stands at 2-9.
