In their next game, the Raiders face the Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY) in a Section 9 Orange County III game, on Monday, January 29. Port Jervis will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 13-7 record after their 67-62 non-league win over Haldane (Cold Spring, NY).

With the defeat, Goshen Central moves to 4-7 on the year. The Gladiators travel to Valley Central (Montgomery, NY) to face the Vikings in a Section 9 Orange County II game on Saturday, January 27. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 8-5.
