In Friday's league outing, the Hamilton Christian Warriors (Lake Charles, LA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Gueydan Bears (Gueydan, LA), by a margin of 89-24.

The Warriors (11-12) will now prepare for their outing against Jennings (Jennings, LA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 21-8 record.

The Bears now own a 4-13 record. They play next when they host Merryville for a 1A District 5 outing on Tuesday, January 30. Gueydan will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 53-21 league win over East Beauregard (DeRidder, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 11-12.
