Indiana High School Basketball - Hanover Central tipped by Morgan Township

In Friday's non-league match, the host Morgan Township Cherokees basketball team scored a tight 56-54 triumph over the Hanover Central Wildcats.

In their next game, the Cherokees meet the South Central Satellites (Union Mills, IN) in a Porter County match, on Thursday, February 1. Morgan Township will attempt to move on its 12-4 season record. The Satellites enter the match with a 5-9 record after their 49-48 non-league loss to New Prairie (New Carlisle, IN).

With the defeat, Hanover Central moves to 6-7 on the year. The Wildcats host Chesterton (Chesterton, IN) to meet the Trojans in a non-league match on Saturday, January 27.
