The Haywood Christian Academy Red Wolves (Waynesville, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy Crusaders (Lincolnton, NC), 75-43 in Friday's league test.

The Red Wolves (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy (Asheville, NC). The Eagles go into the Western Piedmont test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy was trounced by Bethel Christian Academy (Spruce Pine, NC), 56-39, in a non-league test.

The Crusaders now own a 0-11 record. They play next when they host Christian Family Academy for a Western Piedmont test on Monday, January 29. Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy will encounter a Fire squad coming off a 85-54 league win over Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy (Lincolnton, NC). The Fire record now stands at 11-1.
