Lewis Central Titans (Council Bluffs, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA), 70-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Lewis Central upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Titans host Blair (Blair, NE) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Blair lost 55-51 in their recent non-league bout against Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE)

Next up, the Knights play the Harlan Cyclones (Harlan, IA) in a Hawkeye Ten bout, on Thursday, February 1. Kuemper will attempt to upgrade on its 15-3 season record.
