The Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL) basketball felled the visiting Mattoon Greenwave (Mattoon, IL), 52-36 in Friday's non-league test.

The Railsplitters (17-7) will now prepare for their test against Taylorville (Taylorville, IL). The Tornadoes go into the non-league test with a 4-18 record. In their last test, Taylorville was beaten by Charleston (Charleston, IL), 51-36, in a league test.

The Greenwave now own a 12-11 record. They play next when they travel to Centennial for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 30. Mattoon will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 62-48 league loss to Richwoods (Peoria, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 14-9.
