The Linganore Lancers basketball team (Frederick, MD), was nudged 47-46 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Westminster Owls (Westminster, MD)

The Owls now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manchester Valley for a Carroll County battle on Tuesday, January 30. Westminster will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 54-49 league loss to South Carroll (Sykesville, MD). The Mavericks record now stands at 9-7.

The Lancers (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against South Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD). The Rebels come into the CMC battle with a 8-7 record. In their last battle, South Hagerstown was nudged by Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD), 53-50, in a league battle.
