The Portage Indians (Portage, IN) basketball knocked off the host Michigan City Wolves (Michigan City, IN), 60-52 in Friday's league test.
The Indians (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN). The Kougars go into the non-league test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Kankakee Valley notched a victory over Highland (Highland, IN), 64-43, in a league test.
The Wolves now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Chesterton for a Duneland test on Thursday, February 1. Michigan City will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 60-28 non-league win over Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 11-6.
