In Friday's league outing, the Sayre Eagles (Sayre, OK) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Navajo Indians (Altus, OK), by a margin of 68-42.
The Eagles (4-11) will now prepare for their outing against Snyder (Snyder, OK). The Cyclones go into the Shortgrass outing with a 5-13 record. In their last outing, Snyder was trounced by Duke (Duke, OK), 64-21, in a non-league outing.
The Indians now own a 6-15 record. They play next when they travel to Cordell for a Shortgrass outing on Tuesday, January 30. Navajo will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 64-20 league loss to Burns Flat-Dill City (Burns Flat, OK). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-15.
