The North Central Thunder basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Strasburg/Zeeland Clippers to 26 in the Thunder non-league victory on Friday.
The Thunder now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aberdeen Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. North Central will battle a Knights team coming off a 36-34 league win over Waverly/South Shore (Waverly, SD). The Knights record now stands at 5-4.
The Clippers (0-12) will now prepare for their contest against Ellendale (Ellendale, ND). The Cardinals come into the B District 2 contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Ellendale triumphed over Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter (Napoleon, ND), 68-42, in a league contest.
