Raby Raiders (Chicago, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host North Grand Eagle Owls (Chicago, IL), 46-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Raby upgrades its record to 2-18 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Jones (Chicago, IL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 13-11. Jones won 63-36 in their recent non-league bout against Woodlawn (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Eagle Owls play the Johnson Pumas (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. North Grand will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Pumas come into the bout with a 14-7 record after their 58-46 league win over The Noble Academy (Chicago, IL).
