Connecticut High School Basketball - Old Saybrook thwarts Valley Regional

The Old Saybrook Rams (Old Saybrook, CT) basketball knocked off the visiting Valley Regional Warriors (Deep River, CT), 58-42 in Friday's league test.

The Rams (2-10) will now prepare for their test against Hale Ray (Moodus, CT). The Noises go into the Shoreline test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, Hale Ray went down by Morgan (Clinton, CT), 61-50, in a league test.

The Warriors now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to North Branford for a Shoreline test on Tuesday, January 30. Valley Regional will encounter a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 48-41 league win over Westbrook (Westbrook, CT). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 2-9.
