Penn Kingsmen (Mishawaka, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting South Bend Riley Wildcats (South Bend, IN), 64-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Penn upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Kingsmen host Goshen (Goshen, IN) to play the RedHawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The RedHawks go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Goshen lost 50-44 in their recent league bout against Mishawaka (Mishawaka, IN)

Next up, the Wildcats play the South Bend Washington Panthers (South Bend, IN) in a Northern Indiana bout, on Thursday, February 1. South Bend Riley will attempt to upgrade on its 16-4 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 85-64 non-league loss to Crown Point (Crown Point, IN).
