Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Southeast Warren Warhawks (Liberty Center, IA) and the visiting Southwest Valley (Corning, IA), saw Southeast Warren's basketball squad overcome Southwest Valley by a tally of 67-53.

With the victory, Southeast Warren improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Warhawks travel to East Union (Afton, IA) to confront the Eagles in a Pride of Iowa challenge on Monday, January 29. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-15. East Union lost 58-43 in their recent league challenge against Nodaway Valley (Greenfield, IA)

Next up, the confront the Wayne Falcons (Corydon, IA) in a Pride of Iowa challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Southwest Valley will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 50-47 league win over Mount Ayr (Mount Ayr, IA).
