The Washington Hatchets (Washington, IN) basketball crushed the host Tecumseh Braves (Lynnville, IN), 69-29 in Friday's league test.

The Hatchets (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Gibson Southern (Fort Branch, IN). The Titans go into the Pocket test with a 5-11 record. In their last test, Gibson Southern was trounced by Evansville Christian (Evansville, IN), 60-53, in a non-league test.

The Braves now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Cannelton for a non-league test on Saturday, January 27. Tecumseh will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 55-50 non-league loss to Frederick Fraize (Cloverport, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-12.
