Academy of the Holy Names (Albany, NY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cohoes Tigers (Cohoes, NY), 61-24 in a league bout.

With the victory, Academy of the Holy Names upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The host Mohonasen (Schenectady, NY) to play the Warriors in a Section 2 Colonial bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 9-5. Mohonasen won 48-40 in their recent league bout against Cobleskill-Richmondville (Cobleskill, NY)

Next up, the Tigers play the Cobleskill-Richmondville Bulldogs (Cobleskill, NY) in a Section 2 Colonial bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Cohoes will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record.
