In Friday's non-league outing, the Cashion Wildcats (Cashion, OK) basketball squad beat the visiting Alva Goldbugs (Alva, OK), by a margin of 52-40.

The Wildcats (12-4) will now prepare for their outing against Pond Creek-Hunter (Pond Creek, OK). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 10-8 record. In their last outing, Pond Creek-Hunter defeated Drummond (Drummond, OK), 59-27, in a league outing.

The Goldbugs now own a 15-3 record. They play next when they travel to Tonkawa for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 30. Alva will clash with a Buccaneers squad coming off a 20-14 non-league win over Newkirk (Newkirk, OK). The Buccaneers record now stands at 4-12.
