The Ballston Spa Scotties basketball team (Ballston Spa, NY), was overwhelmed 62-27 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Colonie Central Raiders (Albany, NY)

The Raiders now possess a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake for a Section 2 Suburban battle on Tuesday, January 30. Colonie Central will battle a Spartans team coming off a 61-25 league loss to Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 5-10.

The Scotties (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY). The Plainsmen come into the Section 2 Suburban battle with a 15-1 record. In their last battle, Shenendehowa trounced Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY), 61-25, in a league battle.
