Wewoka Tigers (Wewoka, OK) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Bethel Wildcats (Shawnee, OK), 63-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wewoka upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Holdenville (Holdenville, OK) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 14-4. Holdenville won 55-45 in their recent league bout against Prague (Prague, OK)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Jones Longhorns (Jones, OK) in a North Canadian River bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Bethel will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 13-4 record after their 61-38 league win over Harrah (Harrah, OK).
