Brooks (North Andover, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Pingree Highlanders (South Hamilton, MA), 65-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Brooks upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The host Phillips Academy (Andover, MA) to play the Big Blue in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Big Blue go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Phillips Academy won 61-60 in their recent non-league bout against Thayer Academy (Braintree, MA)

Next up, the Highlanders play the Milton Academy Mustangs (Milton, MA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Pingree will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
