Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Capital Cougars (Charleston, WV), 61-22 in a league bout.

With the win, Riverside upgrades its record to 4-10 on the season. The Warriors travel to Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Martinsburg won 44-29 in their recent league bout against Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Greenup County Musketeers (Greenup, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Capital will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Musketeers go into the bout with a 6-13 record after their 64-50 non-league win over Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY).
