Mt. Spokane Wildcats (Mead, WA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Cheney Blackhawks (Cheney, WA), 42-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mt. Spokane upgrades its record to 4-13 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to University (Spokane, WA) to play the Titans in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 7-10. University won 64-63 in their recent league bout against Lewis & Clark (Spokane, WA)

Next up, the Blackhawks play the Rogers Pirates (Spokane, WA) in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Cheney will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record.
