In Friday's league outing, the Coquille Red Devils (Coquille, OR) basketball squad overwhelmed the host St. Mary's Crusaders (Medford, OR), by a margin of 42-19.
The Red Devils (18-2) will now prepare for their outing against North Valley (Grants Pass, OR). The Knights go into the 3A Far West outing with a 14-4 record. In their last outing, North Valley smashed South Umpqua (Myrtle Creek, OR), 56-22, in a league outing.
The Crusaders now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they host Glide for a 3A Far West outing on Saturday, January 27. St. Mary's will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 47-36 league loss to Brookings-Harbor (Brookings, OR). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-9.
