Maryland High School Basketball - Elizabeth Seton can't hold off Paul VI

The Paul VI Panthers basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Elizabeth Seton to 52 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop McNamara for a Washington Catholic contest on Wednesday, January 31. Paul VI will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 61-53 non-league win over Rutgers Prep (Somerset, NJ). The Mustangs record now stands at 18-3.
The (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD). The Falcons enter the Washington Catholic contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Our Lady of Good Counsel nudged Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC), 51-48, in a non-league contest.
