The Kapaun Mt. Carmel Crusaders basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Gardner-Edgerton Trailblazers to 42 in the Crusaders non-league victory on Friday.
The Crusaders now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maize South for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Kapaun Mt. Carmel will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 37-30 non-league win over Goddard (Goddard, KS). The Mavericks record now stands at 11-1.
The Trailblazers (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Goddard (Goddard, KS). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Goddard was defeated by Maize South (Wichita, KS), 37-30, in a non-league contest.
