Southeast Valley Jaguars (Gowrie, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Titans (Ruthven, IA), 55-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Southeast Valley upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Jaguars host Sioux Central (Sioux Rapids, IA) to play the Rebels in a Twin Lakes bout on Monday, January 29. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 14-1. Sioux Central won 70-24 in their recent league bout against East Sac County (Lake View, IA)

Next up, the Titans play the East Sac County Raiders (Lake View, IA) in a Twin Lakes bout, on Saturday, January 27. Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 6-11 record after their 70-24 league loss to Sioux Central (Sioux Rapids, IA).
