In Friday's non-league outing, the Hoxie Indians (Hoxie, KS) basketball squad beat the host Quinter Bulldogs (Quinter, KS), by a margin of 66-46.

The Indians (13-0) will now prepare for their outing against Goodland (Goodland, KS). The Cowboys go into the non-league outing with a 11-2 record. In their last outing, Goodland defeated Russell (Russell, KS), 64-34, in a non-league outing.

The Bulldogs now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Dighton for a Northwest Kansas outing on Monday, January 29. Quinter will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 41-34 non-league loss to Greeley County (Tribune, KS). The Hornets record now stands at 4-9.
