Lafayette Christian Academy Knights (Lafayette, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting North Vermilion Patriots (Maurice, LA), 49-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Lafayette Christian Academy upgrades its record to 25-3 on the season. The Knights host David Thibodaux (Lafayette, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a 4A District 4 bout on Friday, February 2. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-10.

Next up, the Patriots play the St. Thomas More Cougars (Lafayette, LA) in a 4A District 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. North Vermilion will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 12-12 record after their 54-40 league win over Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA).
